Who this is for
This page is for college and university students in India who want to use AI tools properly, not just paste a question into a chatbot. It suits first-year students and final-year students alike, and you do not need to know how to code. Aaghaz delivers everything live and online, so you can join from your hostel, home or library.
What AI can do for a student
A good AI assistant can turn a messy pile of lecture notes into something you can revise from, help you find your way into a new topic, and give you a first draft of a plan when you are staring at a blank page. It cannot do your thinking for you, and it can be confidently wrong. Learning where it helps and where it fails is the real skill, and it is what employers will expect from graduates who grew up with these tools.
Study notes and summaries
You start with your own material: lecture slides, textbook chapters and handwritten notes you have typed up. You learn to ask an AI tool to condense a chapter, then to quiz you on it, then to explain the one idea you still do not follow in simpler words. The output is a set of revision notes and practice questions in your own words, which you check against the source rather than trust blindly.
Research help you can verify
For a project or term paper, AI can suggest search terms, outline the main arguments in a field and point out what you have not yet considered. You practise asking for sources, opening them yourself, and discarding anything you cannot confirm. The output is a short research brief where every claim traces back to something you have actually read.
Responsible use for assignments
Colleges set their own rules on AI, and you should read yours. In training, we treat AI as a tutor and a reviewer, not a ghostwriter. You learn how to use it to get feedback on your draft, check your reasoning and improve clarity while the ideas and the writing stay yours. You also learn how to note where you used a tool, so you can explain your process if anyone asks.
Portfolio projects
A portfolio shows what you can do beyond marks. In the AI in Hands program, learners build practical projects through a project-based approach, such as a study assistant that answers questions from their own notes or a small automation that organises deadlines. Each project ends with something you can show: a working demo and a short write-up of what you built and why.
Resume and interview preparation
AI can help you tighten a resume bullet, tailor it to a job description and rehearse likely interview questions. You learn to give it real context, such as your projects and the role you want, and to reject generic answers. The output is a resume you can defend line by line and a set of practice answers you have rewritten to sound like you.
A skill roadmap for what comes next
With so many tools around, it is hard to know what to learn first. We help you map a path from where you are now to the work you want, and you can compare it with our guide to the top AI skills for Indian college students. If you are completely new, our AI course for beginners and the article on how to start learning AI are good first reads.
What you build in AI in Hands
AI in Hands is open to all levels and runs for 12 weeks. You learn by building: each week you apply a tool to a real task, then review the result with your mentor. By the end you have a set of finished projects, a clearer sense of which AI skills suit you, and a certificate that is industry recognized.
How it is delivered
Sessions are live and online for learners in India. The program includes one-on-one mentoring sessions, full access to program materials and community support, so you are not left alone when a tool behaves strangely. Because the format is project-based, you spend most of your time making things rather than watching slides.
